We’re at the end of the third week of GSoC, and I am releasing another beta to the community to test out.
This version has the labels decoupled, meaning that the widgets no longer need to dynamically resize to accommodate the labels. This makes widget development easier and means the widgets are a more consistent size. This also has the advantage that labels can now be added to almost any widget, and can be attached to any side of the widget.
The second thing that I’ve been working on for GSoC is events. There are now more events being used in the toolkit. There is also now a tutorial for the events: http://program.sambull.org/sgc/tutorial.events.html
