We have reached the end of GSoC, and while the project is not quite ready for merging, I am pleased with the progress made over the past few weeks.
I will, of course, continue working on this project after GSoC. There are some small bits and pieces to complete in the short-term, before the first implementation can be merged into Nautilus.
In the long-term I plan to get auto-mounting working, as well as many other usability improvements.
Overall, it’s been a good GSoC, I’ve learnt a lot about GNOME development, and met some great people at GUADEC. It’s been great that my mentor, Stef Walter, has been thinking along the same lines when it comes to security, and I hope to continue contributions to GNOME in the future.
